Setup and how to play
The Ball Drop
Nine 3D printed segments that join into a 20-inch cylinder, plus a small ball to balance on it. Here's how to set it up and play.
What's in the box
- 9 segments, 3D printed in wood-filament PLA (painted or unpainted, as ordered), that make a 20-inch stack
- A stand for each segment
- A small ball
Setup
-
Unpack the segments
Take out the nine segments, their stands and the ball, and lay them out on a table or the floor.
-
Line them up
Set the center section ready to go and line up the other eight next to it, in the order they'll be added, so the caller can grab them fast.
-
Pick a caller
One person runs the clock and adds a section to each end at set intervals. Agree on the interval before you start.
How to play
Solo against the clock
Start a timer with the ball on the center section and keep going as sections are added. Your time is how long you last.
Head to head
With two sets, start side by side and add sections at the same time. Drop the ball and you're out; last one balancing wins immunity.
Group endurance
Everyone takes a timed turn with the same caller and the same intervals. The longest run of the night wins.
