Setup and how to play
The 3D Cube
A 3D-printed cube puzzle, about 4 by 4 inches, with 6 pieces, a base and a top. Here's how to set it up and play it solo, head to head or as a team.
What's in the box
- 6 printed puzzle pieces
- A base and a top
Setup
-
Lay out the parts
Unpack everything on a flat table. Set the base and the top to one side and spread the 6 pieces out so none overlap.
-
Set the top aside
The top goes on last, once the cube is built. Keep it within reach so you can finish in one move.
-
Mix them up
Scramble the pieces and turn a few over before every round so nobody gets a head start.
How to play
Solo against the clock
Start a timer, build the cube, and stop the clock when the top sits flat. Write your time down and try to beat it next round.
Head to head
With two cubes, sit across the table, count down from three and race. First one to put the top on wins.
Party or team relay
Make it the last stop of your own challenge course: teams run the course, then build the cube. First top on wins immunity.
