Setup and how to play
The Dragon Circle
A round 27-piece dragon puzzle, about 8.5 by 8.5 inches. Here's how to set it up and play it solo, head to head or as a team.
What's in the box
- 27 acrylic pieces with stickers on both sides
- Hand-finished, stained birch wood base
- Muslin bag to hold the pieces
Setup
-
Lay out the pieces
Empty the muslin bag on a flat table and spread the pieces out so none overlap.
-
Set out the base
Put the round birch base on the table in front of you. The dragon builds inside the frame.
-
Mix them up
Scramble the pieces before every round so nobody gets a head start. Every piece is stickered on both sides, so either face can go up.
How to play
Solo against the clock
Start a timer, fill the whole circle, and stop the clock when the last piece is in. Write your time down and try to beat it next round.
Head to head
With two puzzles, set them side by side, count down from three and race. First complete dragon wins, just like a finale puzzle.
Party or team relay
Make it the last station of your own challenge course: teams run the course, and the first team to finish the circle wins immunity.

Where this challenge comes from
This is a replica of the round serpent puzzle first used on Survivor 42 (Episode 13). Ours is a tabletop size so you can play it at home.
