Setup and how to play
House of the Holey
A tabletop wall of holes, about 17 inches tall and 12 inches wide, played with two pull strings and three steel balls. Here's how to set it up and play.
What's in the box
- Laser-cut birch plywood board on a birch base and stand
- Two pull strings with ring handles
- 3 steel balls
Setup
-
Unpack it
Take the board and the three steel balls out of the box. Keep the balls in a cup so none roll away.
-
Stand it up
Set the stand on a flat, steady table or coffee table. Sit or stand in front of it with room to pull a ring in each hand.
-
Load the balls
Lower the bar all the way to the bottom and set the three balls on it before every round.
How to play
Solo against the clock
Start a timer and stop it when all three balls are resting at the top. Write your time down and try to beat it next round.
Head to head
With two boards, set them side by side, count down from three and race. First one to get all three balls home wins immunity.
Watch party challenge
Everyone gets one timed run during the episode. Fastest run of the night wins, and a dropped ball sends you back to the start.

Where this challenge comes from
This is a replica of House of the Holey, played on Survivor: Worlds Apart (Season 30, Episode 4). A similar wall of holes finished challenges on Survivor 32 (Episode 3) and 35 (Episode 5). Ours is a tabletop size so you can play it at home.
