Setup and how to play
Bow Diddley, Painted
A full-size, painted balance bow, 31 inches long and 10 inches wide. Here's how to set it up and play it solo, head to head or with a group.
What's in the box
- Full-size painted bow, 31 by 10 inches
- Ball to balance on the bow
Setup
-
Find some room
Unpack the bow and the ball and find an open space with nothing breakable nearby. Outside works great.
-
Get a grip
Hold the bow out in front of you by the bar along the bottom, with the curved top facing up.
-
Set the ball on top
Have a friend set the ball on the top of the bow. The round starts the moment they let go.
How to play
Solo against the clock
Start a timer when the ball goes on and stop it when the ball drops. Write your time down and try to beat it next round.
Head to head
With two bows, stand side by side and start together. Drop the ball and you're out. The last one still balancing wins.
Party tournament
Pass the bow around the room and time everyone's turn. Longest time takes the crown, and the bottom two face off in a tiebreaker.
