Setup and how to play
Simmotion Mini
A working tabletop Simmotion, 14 inches wide, 11 inches deep and 10.5 inches tall, played with six steel balls. Here's how to set it up and play.
What's in the box
- Simmotion Mini machine, 3D printed, in Classic or Bold
- 6 steel ball bearings (1/2 inch)
Setup
-
Unpack it
Lift the machine out of the box by its base, not the rails. Keep the six balls in a cup until you play.
-
Find a steady table
Set it on a flat, sturdy table at a height where you can reach the top and both exits with one hand.
-
Line up the balls
Put the six balls in the tray at the side of the base and get a timer ready that beeps every 60 seconds.
How to play
Solo against the clock
One hand behind your back, one ball in, and a new ball every 60 seconds until all six are moving. Your time is how long you keep them going.
Head to head
With two machines, start together and add balls on the same beep. Drop a ball or use your other hand and you're out; last one going wins immunity.
Family final immunity
Everyone takes a timed turn while the others watch for a second hand. Longest run wins the family immunity.

Where this challenge comes from
This is a replica of Simmotion, played on ten seasons from Survivor 18 (Episode 14) to Survivor 50 (Episode 13), where fans voted it in as the final immunity challenge. Ours is a tabletop size so you can play it at home.
