Setup and how to play
Snake and Balls
A tabletop snake maze, 17 inches tall and 12 inches wide. Here's how to set it up and play it solo, head to head or with a group.
What's in the box
- Snake maze board on a birch wood base and stand
- Ball bearing
Setup
-
Unpack it
Take the maze and the ball bearing out of the box and check the ball isn't still in the packing.
-
Stand it up
Set the stand on a flat, steady table or coffee table with room on both sides for your hands.
-
Load the ball
Put the ball bearing at the start, at the bottom of the snake, before every round.
How to play
Solo against the clock
Start a timer and stop it when the ball reaches the snake's head. Write your time down and try to beat it next round.
Head to head
With two mazes, set them side by side, count down from three and race. First ball in the head wins immunity.
Game night showdown
Everyone takes a timed turn while the rest of the room cheers. Fastest time of the night wins.

Where this challenge comes from
This is a replica of the snake maze version of House of the Holey, played on Survivor 37 (Episode 5), 38 (Episode 6), Winners at War (Season 40, Episode 8) and 44 (Episode 2). Ours is a tabletop size so you can play it at home.
